Pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (EUR-Lex 2016, No. 119, referred to as RODO), please be advised that:
1. Your personal data is administered by the Cracow University of Economics (CUE), based in Kraków, ul. Rakowicka 27, 31-510 Kraków (hereinafter “administrator”).

3. Your personal data included in the recruitment form will be processed for the purpose of the admission process, and if you are admitted, for the needs of exercising the University’s rights and performing its responsibilities resulting from legal regulations, in particular with regard to the following: conducting its teaching activities, registering the course of studies, granting scholarships, providing accommodation for students, and performing other tasks appropriate for a public university as set out by legal regulations.
4. Legal grounds for data processing are based on Article 6 section1 letter c) RODO in connection with the administrator’s adherence to legal obligations and performing tasks in public interest on the basis of legal regulations, particularly the Act of 20 July 2018 the Law on Higher Education and Science. Data processing is also based on Article 6 section1 letter f) RODO, in connection with legally justified University or third party activities carried out by the administrator (e.g. claims adjustment, examination or protection), as well as Article 6 section1 letter a) RODO – your consent.
5. Your personal data can be made available to authorised recipients, in particular external entities providing, for the benefit of the administrator, IT and legal services, post-office and courier service providers, as well as entities authorised to control the administrator’s activities, and entities authorised to have access to data pursuant to legal regulations, such as the Ministry of Education and Science, or other state institutions on the basis of their requests submitted in writing.
6. Your personal data will be processed:
- if you are not admitted, for a period of time necessary to achieve the objective for which they have been collected, i.e. the admissions process, for a maximum of three year after the recruitment process appeal procedures,
- if you are admitted to attend studies, for the period of completing study programmes, to be later archived and stored for the period of 50 years.
7. You are entitled to require that the administrator provide access to your personal data, allow you to make corrections therein, cancel or restrict data processing, as well as to raise objections against data processing or the transfer thereof in cases of and according to principles set forth by RODO.
8. You are entitled to revoke the consent for processing data – for reasons related to your special life circumstances, in compliance with Art. 21 of RODO.
9. You are entitled to appeal to the supervisory body – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
10. You are obliged by the statutory law to disclose your personal data. If you do not disclose such data, you will be excluded from the admissions process.
11. Your personal data will not be subject to automatic decision-making processes or profiling.
