QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
■ Admission of candidates is based on average grades / GPA in examinations and credit obtained in the course of attending Bachelor's (or equivalent) long-cycle programmes / GPA from diploma's supplement or separate notification with GPA from the University.
ATTENTION!
Foreigners applying for admission to second-cycle studies on the basis of a diploma of graduation issued abroad which is not a diploma authorizing continuation of education in second-cycle studies, as referred to in Article 326, paragraph 1, and which has not been recognized as a diploma equivalent to a corresponding Polish diploma on the basis of the international agreement referred to in Article 327, paragraph 1. 1, or through a recognition procedure, will be required to submit during the recruitment process a diploma of graduation issued abroad by a higher education institution recognized by the country on whose territory or in whose system of higher education it operates, along with written information about the diploma issued by the director of NAWA confirming eligibility to apply for admission.
■ When registering, candidates should provide average grades visible in the diploma supplement or on the certificate confirming the completion of studies.
■The grade point average /GPA/ must be documented - if it is not provided in the diploma supplement, Candidate must submit a separate notification with GPA from the University.
■ Candidate is obligated to upload a scan of the diploma with supplement or scan of notification confirming the GPA in the IRK system.
■ Foreign candidates who hold the above mentioned degree from outside of Poland may apply for Master's programmes at KUE only if their diploma has been legalized and entitles to apply for Master's programmes in the country of issue.
■ In order to verify if the above mentioned diploma issued outside of Poland entitles to apply for Master studies in Poland, candidates obligatorily attach scans of diploma, supplement and a separate notification with GPA from the University (if the average is not presented in the diploma supplement) to the IRK system.
■ It is obligatory that the diploma with supplement/transcript of records are translated into Polish language by a sworn translator.
■ Candidates applying for admission to studies may apply to maximum of three major programmes, but they may be admitted only to one major. Candidates are obliged to prioritise major programmes from the most preferred to the least preferred one. Admission to one of the programmes indicates that a candidate is not admitted to others.
■ The launch of the major programme depends on the application of a sufficient number of candidates.

RECRUITMENT SCHEDULES
- Registration of candidates: from 1st of April to 12th of July 2026
- Announcement of admission results – 22nd of July 2026
- Confirmation of undertaking studies – from 23 to 24th of July 2026 or from 22 to 23rd of September 2026.
APPLICATION FEE
Candidates shall make payment of the application fee for the admission procedure. In the academic year 2026/27 the fee is 85 PLN per each chosen major programme. Payment should be made onto individual account number generated in the Online Candidate Admissions platform/ IRK, no later than on the last day of registration. The account number and the total amount will appear in the ,,Payments'' tab after signing up for the major programme! As a title of payment, please state your name and surname.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
The admission results will be announced on 22nd of July 2026 on the Candidates' accounts in the Online Candidate Admissions platform/IRK.
CONFIRMATION OF UNDERTAKING STUDIES
Foreigners qualified for admission shall submit the following documents on: 23 - 24th of July 2026 or 22 - 23rd of September 2026:
- Bachelor’s, Engineer's, Master’s, or an equivalent degree diploma (Legalized, translated) - photocopy and original for view,
- Supplement or transcript of records for the whole period of studies (Legalized, translated) - photocopy and original for view,
- The certificate confirming that the candidate’s diploma allows to undertake Master’s studies in the country of issue. Such certificate may be issued by the equivalent of Ministry of Education („Ministerstwo Oświaty”) in a given country (in that case this document should be translated into Polish by a certified translator) - photocopy and original for view,

- Proof of English language proficiency: English certificate – it does not apply to candidates from EU who hold the diploma issued in the EU,
- Printout of personal questionnaire – from Online Candidate Admissions - photocopy and original for view,
- Photocopy of passport (page with photo) - original for view,
- Citizenship statement - from Online Candidate Admission Platform (Enrollment applications - Documents and further steps).
NOTE: Another person/The Representative may submit documents on behalf of the candidate. In such case authorisation is required. Form of power of attorney is posted in the downloads tab. and on Online Candidate Admissions platform (IRK) – Enrollment applications - Documents and further steps.
The Representative is obligated to deliver:
- fulfilled form of power of attorney
- personal ID,
- copy of candidate’s ID/passport,
- all required documents for admission (from Step 2).
RESIDENCE PERMIT AND INSURANCE
Before the beginning of studies, admitted persons shall deliver:
- Original and photocopy of visa/residence permit, EU citizens - registration of stay;
- Original and photocopy of health insurance, covering the entire period of studies in Poland or copy of the European Health Insurance Card or insurance from the National Health Fund.
IMPORTANT:
- Student ID Card will be issued after submission of the documents required in the step 3.
